We recommend the following instructions as general guidelines for care:
- Wood: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. We do not recommend exposing wood items to excess water.
- Fabric: Machine wash using cold water and mild detergent, no bleach, on the gentle cycle. Air dry or machine dry with no heat.
- Plastic: Hand wash in mild, soapy water. Do not put in a sanitizer. Do not put in the dishwasher unless the Warnings & Instructions booklet recommends doing so.
- Items that contain both fabric + plastic: Hand wash, air dry
- Felt: Hand wash, air dry. Felt that is exposed to large amounts of water may expand or deform.
- Stainless steel: Hand wash in lukewarm water using mild detergent (no chlorine bleach)
- Printed items/books: Wipe clean with dry or lightly damp cloth as needed.
- Teething Toys: Wash in mild soapy water. Do not boil or sanitize.
Please note that these are general guidelines to keep your products in tip top shape. Some of the Warnings & Instructions booklets found in each Play Kit contain more specific instructions for some select products. Some fabric items also have a tag with more specific cleaning instructions. Where these more specific instructions exist, please follow those.
We cannot guarantee the outcome of using any cleaning methods that are not mentioned on this page or in the inserts in each Play Kit/the tags on specific items.
