If you’re having trouble getting the suction cups on your Bath Set to stick securely, a few small adjustments can make a big difference. Follow the steps below to help create a strong seal on your tub or tile.
- Start with a clean, smooth surface
Before attaching, make sure the bathtub or tile surface is clean and free from soap residue or oils. Suction cups adhere best to smooth, non-porous surfaces. - Lightly wet the suction cups
Add a small amount of water to the suction cups before attaching them. This can help improve suction, especially on slightly textured surfaces. - Apply firm, even pressure directly on the suction cups
When attaching the In Then Out Bath Tube or the Fast & Slow Water Wheel, use your fingers to push firmly directly over each suction cup at the same time, rather than pressing on the entire toy itself. To attach the I See You Bath Mirror, we recommend detaching the mirror from the suction cup first before applying the suction cup to the wall and reattaching the mirror. The suction cups often need more force than expected to fully seal. - Gently rotate your fingers to flatten the suction cups
While pressing, try slightly rotating your fingers in small circular motions over each suction cup. This helps the suction cups flatten out completely against the tub or wall.
