Oh no! We're sorry to hear that. Here are some of the most common reasons we see from customers as to why their Super Sustainable Sink isn't working. Please try all of the following troubleshooting steps to get your little one back to splashing!
- Have you tried new batteries?
- Are you using the right kind of batteries? Please double-check that your batteries are not expired. Additionally, the Super Sustainable Sink takes two AA alkaline batteries. It does not take rechargeable lithium batteries.
- Did you install the batteries correctly? The positive end of the battery should face the (+) sign in the battery compartment, and the negative side of the battery should face the (-) sign in the battery compartment.
- Did you assemble the Super Sustainable Sink correctly? The faucet piece should click into place in the motor box, and should not be able to come out. The motor box should also be fully seated into the sink basin. The top lip of the motor box should rest on top of the edge of the hole in the basin. There should be no space in between the top lip of the motor box and the basin. You can view in depth assembly instructions here.
- Did you fill the Sink with the right amount of water? There are lines inside the basin indicating minimum and maximum water levels. The Sink may not function properly if the water level is not between the minimum and maximum levels indicated on the inside of the basin.
